How to make a listing video from photos (without a videographer)

You already have 20 to 40 professional photos of the listing. Here is how to turn them into a walkthrough video buyers actually watch.

1. Put the photos in tour order

Start outside with the front of the home, then follow the path a buyer walks: entry, living room, kitchen, dining, bedrooms, bathrooms, then the backyard or best outdoor view to finish.

2. Give every photo one slow camera move

A slideshow feels cheap because the photos sit still. Give each photo 3 to 4 seconds and one smooth move: a slow push-in on the living room, a gentle slide across the kitchen, a pull-out on the backyard. Keep the motion eased so it never jerks or stops dead.

3. Add the four text cards that matter

Price, beds, baths and square feet up front; short room labels; one or two highlights; and an end card with your name, brokerage and phone.

4. Make two shapes

Post a vertical 9:16 version to Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, and make a wide 16:9 version for your listing marketing. Confirm your MLS and listing platform's video and hosting rules before uploading.

5. Keep it 30 to 45 seconds

Eight to twelve photos at 3 to 4 seconds each, with cross-dissolves, lands in the range people finish watching.

Or let us do it

Listing Motion does all of the above automatically from your photos and makes both video formats. Your first listing is free.
